Manufacturing, export, employment, support and advocacy | New Zealand Manufacturers and Exporters Association (NZMEA)

Join and help us help you

Thank you for your interest in the New Zealand Manufacturers and Exporters Association (NZMEA). Companies and individuals are eligible for membership, if you are seeking individual membership please click here.

As a company you can calculate your NZMEA subscription below.

Subscriptions from current members fund slightly more that 20% off the Associations current costs. When setting membership fees the Executive seeks to balance the cost of the Association across our member companies in an equitable way. The fees have two parts a base ($475) fee plus a per-employee ($20) fee.

The per-employee fee comes from actual staff or a notional staff number based on turnover and a global average turnover per employee of $130k. This notional staff number is capped at 1.5 times the actual staff number. This approach is intended to balance membership fees across labour and capital biased companies.

Note: Turnover information is only used to calculate your subscription and is not kept by the Association.

If you are joining as an Associate or Affiliate member, the details provided below will give you an indication of your membership subscription.

Associate Members are seeking a commercial relationship with NZMEA members.

Affiliate Members are not for profit or organisations made up of members who would largely qualify for ordinary membership of the NZMEA.
