Forums: The People Part of Business


Five different forums covering simple and effective ways of improving human performances in business.

By registering for these five forums, delegates will gain additional tactics and strategies to enable them to unload some of their most pressing concerns and  procedures that will generate results for the company.

Finding and Assembling the Right Team -  Thursday 13 May

Gain simple, practical ways to bring a structured approach to recruiting new members into your team. This Forum will enable any manager to set up a sequential process for attracting and recognising the most productive applicants while screening out the unsuitable.

Team Development -  Thursday 24 June

Learn some basic principles for creating and maintaining teams. How to recognise the differences between teams and groups. How to turn a group into a team. When a team is called for and when teams are not appropriate, team integration, management, motivation.

Communication and Motivation -  Thursday 29 July
Learn the basics of human communication and key factors of how to achieve this simply and successfully. How do you convey concepts without losing the message? What must be done to get people to follow instructions, adopt best practices and be motivated to want to do so?

Coping with the Unexpected -  Thursday 19 August
Learn some basic techniques for recognising and managing stress or extreme demands and how to spread the load before the pressure gets too much.

Negotiation -  Thursday 23 September
Learn basic tools so that when you must resolve a situation, you can do so in a win/win context without conflict or deadlock and meet the needs of all parties concerned.

Facilitator:   Ron Dards has spent over 40 years in positions of senior management in several countries and is the Managing Director of The Test Agency Ltd. Ron provides many real life examples from his time in many different industries as both general manger and independent trainer and consultant.

Time: 4:00pm - 6:00pm.
