Forum: Process Improvement Implementation
To be really effective at process improvement, fundamental rule sets must change. Due to negative side effects of making such changes, people quickly swing back to old measures. Business’s need to understand the issues and the solutions. They need to insist that negative side effects do not destroy the process improvement initiatives.
The Forum will give an overview on the following:
- How to get improved business process using less inventory and less time with more profit.
- How the different process improvement methodologies work and which one or combinations you can use.
- Lean, TOC, 6 Sigma? Why not all of them?
There will be a short video showing a manufacturing company and how they used these techniques to implement process improvements that are systematic. This will then be followed by a discussion about tricks and steps you can deploy in a short time with a reasonably low risk.
Who should attend? CEO’s, senior management and operations management.
Facilitator: Peter Thorby, is an Associate of Viago® Ltd, a company specialising in “bringing chaos to calm” in businesses and who also takes a special interest in TOC/Lean initiatives.
