Facilitator: 
Frik de Beer, Independent Consultant of TopTech Ltd. He is a regular presenter on technology and project management, intellectual property commercialisation and communication - for academic, industry, and ipenz groups.
 
Who should attend? This Forum is aimed at staff members who commission and develop software and want to protect their rights in an economic and defensible way. This applies whether they are a part of a small and independent startup, or managers and engineers responsible for internal and outsourced software development in a big company, commercial or local government environment.

  • The Manufacturing Development Forums are sessions that give members an opportunity to learn from knowledgeable presenters as well as from the wealth of experience in the membership.
  • They run for approximately 90 minutes and generally include a short presentation and discussion - encouraging members to share their experiences.
  • The Forums are open to all your staff.
  • Refreshments after the Forum provide further opportunity to talk with fellow manufacturers.
  • If you are a client of an Economic Development Agency (i.e. the Canterbury Development Corporation) or the ANZ Bank, you are able to access special Association vouchers. The vouchers can be used to reduce the cost of attendance at Association events, they are obtainable from the Agencies or their Cluster Coordinators and from your ANZ Account Manager.
